Hey there! I am a Phd student at TU Wien, under the supervision of Alice Barbora Tumpach and Robert Sablatnig . Previously I was a researcher at the Department of Informatic at the University of Milano-Bicocca. I hold both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.
My reserch focuses on Geometry Processing, Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with real world applications, particularly in the medical field. The topic of my PhD research is Geometric Green Learing on Lie Groups and Quotient Spaces. I was part of the 3DiG research group, working under the supervision of Prof. Simone Melzi.
I also maintain active collaborations with academic institutions such as UC Santa Barbara and University of Verona, as well as with Research Hospitals like IRCSS Humanitas and IRCSS E. Medea. Finally, I am also one of the founders and maintainers of GeomFum, a Python open-source package for spectral geometry processing. If you’d like to collaborate or simply chat about research, don’t hesitate to reach out!!
